Parenting Classes

Participants will receive certification for attending after successful completion of the class approved by the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families. Children are likely to experience feelings of loss and fear when parents separate/divorce. The Triple P - Positive Parenting Program - knows all parents have different needs. That's why Triple P offers a range of ways for you to get your parenting help. Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

Parents are the only people with the power to successfully resolve their child's problems. Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) gives parents the tools need for specialized parenting. Some children are temperamentally more difficult to parent than others because of short attentions spans, difficult handling change, willfulness or developmental problems. PCIT teaches parents to be experts in behavior modification and to specifically parent children who do not respond well to typical parenting styles. Read More >>>

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

About one in four children in the general population will experience a traumatic event before the age of 16. Community-based studies reveal a lifetime prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder of approximately 8 percent in the United States.
